Securing the digital world, one breakthrough at a time.
I'm a cybersecurity researcher and educator with around 12 years of full-time academic experience, currently serving as Associate Professor at the Center for Cyber Security and Cryptology, Sharda School of Computing Science & Engineering, Sharda University.
I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from UPES Dehradun (a Top-50 NIRF university), preceded by an M.Tech in Information Technology from YMCA University of Science & Technology. My work spans 50 SCI/Scopus journal papers, 100+ Scopus-indexed conference papers, 30 book chapters, and 5 granted copyrights — alongside serving as Guest Editor for the IEEE Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics (IF 7.7) and Associate Editor for Scientific Reports and IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing.
Beyond research, I'm a Senior Member of IEEE, Vice-Chairperson of the Meerut ACM Professional Chapter, and a frequent keynote speaker who has trained law enforcement, industry, and academia across the globe.
I currently guide Ph.D. scholars pursuing their doctorates in image forensics, IoT security and forensics, and explainable AI, and co-lead a UK–India SPRITE+ funded Innovation Forum with Birmingham City University on defending higher education against AI-enabled social engineering.
